WELCOME!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Cowichan Valley Bluegrass Festival. As ambassadors who help create positive and lasting experiences, you are the ones who make the event special for so many people.  For many of our patrons, you are the face of the festival. You are all heroes and we thank you.

Our on-line volunteer management system allows volunteers to self-register and self-schedule for duties and shifts. We can also use the system to communicate with volunteers.

You can sign up on your home computer or by using the Volunteer Local app for Android (Google) or iPhone (Apple). The app also allows you to check in for your shifts and makes it easy for us to communicate while on site. Both the app and computer versions allow you to cancel or change shifts online. Any vacated shifts automatically become available for someone else. No need to send us an email, which makes things much easier for everyone!

If you do not see a crew or shift listed, it may be that all those positions have been filled. Some jobs and shifts require special skills or training and are not available online. If you are interested in something not listed, let us know.

A weekend pass valued at $160 is provided to all volunteers who commit to a minimum nine hours.  A day pass is provided for those who commit to less than nine hours. All volunteers get snacks, refreshments and a t-shirt. Camping and meals are the responsibility of the volunteer. Full-time volunteers are automatically entered in our Martin guitar raffle.

Click the + on the job, and then the + for each shift to see availability, job description and other details. When you find a suitable position, check the box and scroll down to sign up for that shift.

THANK YOU!!

There are no shifts available at this time.
